slightly unrelated... do you like the flooring in your garage? Thats racetrax right?
What happens when you spill a little oil on it, does the oil seep through the ajoining cracks? thats my only worry.

uggh..that's.. terrible. Not only does the front end look like a complete bodgery, but I can't see it being beneficial at all.
Sorry, but once things verge into the realm of "hideous", I start to get honest.

It does seep through, but not as badly as you would think. It's hard to clean though, jack stands mar it, and well lets for get about welding, drilling, etc... on it.

And he put stickers on it. Oh that's just so disgusting.
They work. They're tested. They might not be pretty or to you're liking but they work. While I'll agree the upper row might have marginal benefit I did see a significant reduction in temps. Oil temp is still an issue, and I'm thinking of adding a water to oil cooler as well. Oh the horror.

In all my previous turbo cars (RX7s and 240SX), I noticed 15-20deg temperature drop in both water and oil by making holes in the front bumper like that. Ugly or not, it works.. and 15-20deg is a *huge* difference. Turbo cars on track are nearly impossible to keep cool.. +1 for the holes in the bumper, and the splitter! Do you have any larger pics showing the front splitter?

That's pretty awesome, 'cept personally I'd yield to mr aeronautical engineer or whatever Mike is regarding the front. Seems like you've gone all out already, might as well go above and beyond for the front end, too.

Lots of people are still trying to figure out whatever I am. But yeah, I have an aero engineering degree and I work as an engineer for an airplane company.
Just in case it wasn't clear, I'm not questioning whether it gets more air in there. I'm only questioning the cost in drag and effect on downforce. I think there should be a more efficient way to get that air in there. But I haven't done any real analysis of this configuration -- I'm just going by an educated sense of what looks right.
