It's not how much air you can cram in the front, it's how much air you can move through the systems, front to back. Before you go diddling I'd take pressure readings both in front and behind the radiators. You need to get the air out as fast as you have it come in or you still end up with a high pressure bubble but also get turbulent airflow over the length of the hood.

Hood vents or gills on the fenders will cause suction pulling more air in through the front grill.

There are other front fenders, like the new J's style 2-piece which offer a huge air inlet, built in splitter and clean airflow over the hood. The also have gilled fenders to match IIRC.

Nice build - thanks for sharing.

If you want to improve airflow through the radiator, I'd also remove the A/C fan. It just blocks flow when you're on the track and I would think one fan would be enough when idling in the paddock.

It is cool to see what our cars look like under all the plastic covers on the interior.

Nice build!

Keep us posted on how the Inlinepro manifold holds up to track abuse. I'm trying to plan a build for my next s2000 to use as a track car and I can't really see any other manifold holding up to the abuse of being on a road course since I cracked my manifold when it was being babied on the street.

Also, I have been trying to think of where I could mount the oil cooler. On my last s2k I had it in almost the same position as you between the FMIC and the radiator, but I am wondering if there would be a more ideal location for it. Its kind of hard with the charge pipes blocking the side openings in the bumper though.

more like 120% throttle, but that's just mice nuts.

I'll let you tell the story and post the pics.
