Mugen Anti-Roll Diameter vs. Oversteer/Understeer

If you're using sticky tires you may find that the Mugen bar does not offer enough stiffness, especially if you're using non-stock tire widths (e.g. 225/245 f/r). I'm using the Comptech adjustable bar in the full stiff position and find the car to be nicely balanced on concrete with Kumho V700 tires (225/245 f/r). If you're using OEM tires, I'm surprised if you're still having oversteer issues.

I was looking at the MUZ sway bars and MUZ recommends that you get the 30mm solid bar for the front and the rear.
Would this make the car more balanced/nuetral?

Haven't run the numbers but I suspect the 30mm solid bar is at least roughly equal to the Mugen 31.8mm bar. The larger bar makes the car more neutral, especially in the tighter turns of an autocross but also may not be large enough. Depends on how much money you want to spend for what results.
Don't forget that you can still induce oversteer by driving style so a large front bar doesn't eliminate oversteer.

225/245 tire combo may be too tail happy with the
Mugen bar, 205/245 too much understeer. Did any one run 215/40 Hoosiers front and 245 rears with the Mugen bar?
I run 225/245 with a stiffer adjustable Comptech bar full stiff and it works fine.

One of the top competitors, Mike Soloman, is running a Mugen front bar with the "standard" 225/245 Hoosiers and took 4th place at Nationals last year, about 3/4 second back from first. It may not be the ultimate setup but one can make it work...
