I think I am up to $16k invested in this thing....that is my net investment.. i sold the airbags, seats, headlight ballasts, and a few other misc interior parts....

Tein RA, Veilside Ti exhaust, PRM Intake, Rota Front wheels for now, track pads, full rollcage, Sparco Rev Seat, G-force harnesses. Eventually i will add an adjustable swaybar, brake ducts, a new hood, and some other little things here and there...

the car has 7500 miles on it, the oil, diff fluid and tranny fluid all were changed by me, but came out very clean.... the rear tires even had tons of tread on them, so hopefully it stays together fairly well once it gets to the track

Looks good Scot.

From personal experience I'd suggest that you do the brake ducts ASAP. Also, I'm not sure what tire sizes you're running but the swaybar is really a necessity if you have the 225/245 combination, again from personal experience.

Nice car for a relatively small investment. Good luck with it.

I know several guys that had nice street / track cars and after careful analysis on dollars (spent and to be spent) and competition venues, went spec Miata. Looks like a gas and is almost affordable.

For myself I have reduced by track involvement to 2 or 3 events a year just for fun and will maintain my car primarily for the street.

Oh, ok.

That's cool.

I didn't mean to throw the Village People in there.
