It was an import race and I ended up #4 qualifier in quick16 and made it to the semifinals in 4-cyl all motor(damn 1700# 300hp slicked CRX;s ). First pass lauched at 6000 and spun all the way to 3rd, need a good clutch, more rpm limit(shifting into 5th kills et/mph) and a good track and a high 12 is a reallity.
Those times are great... You're definately a good driver..

Very impressive. An AP1 ecu should get you those extra revs.

Wow...that is fast for an S2k. I bet you could run 12's with my car no problem. The thing is, I don't think I can. I think my best 60' time ever has been 2.2 I think I've gone to the strip maybe 3 times in my life. Congrats

That's a very good time...

I wish I had less weight too but oh well.

So if you didn't shift into 5th Gear... how did you manage to trap at 103 mph? 4th Gear maxes out at 98 mph.

Go to an SCCA Pro Solo. Lots of launches both before and during the event. Newbies get 3 free launches and then it's something like 4 for $10 - you can go until you run out of money or they shut the launch practice down. You get reaction and 60' times...

Why don't you pull your clutch delay valve off, save your clutch and get better responsive shifts? This could only increase your time further.

Well, if you want to get an easier 12 sec. quarter, why don't you swap the gears for 4.56?? Supposedly, I've heard they can knock off b/t .6 and .7 from any time if used properly which you've proven you can do...

Either way...awesome job on the time...

Dude, that's awesome!! If you're able to hit these times and possibly something inside the 12's, you'll be very competitive with the latest 350z reving up to 7500 rpm and supposedly doing quarters at mid to low 13s and high 12s with bolt ons...that's insane!! Also, 12s are Lotus Exige territory...

Still though, 13.4 on small add ons!!
