Whats the lightest stock class CR sized wheel? I'm guessing Kosei K1-TS for the fronts at 13.6 lbs, how about the rear? I searched but didn't find any newer then 2009 threads so I looking for more current 2012 info.


Stock wheels are-

Front Size: 17" x 7.0" +55mm

Rear size: 17" x 8.5" +65mm


With it being a RTR car I think taking advantage of the .25" (6.35mm) allowance on back spacing would be a good idea. So I'm looking for the lightest wheel in this range:

Front: 17x7 +49 to +55
Rear: 17x8.5 +59 to +65


The O.Z Alleggerita HLT are 17x7 +49 front and 17x8.5 +59 which is exactly at the limit of the stock class offset allowance. Hmmm.

I have the Kosei/OZ combo for my car. The OZ rears were very light (lighter than advertised). I believe they were 14.9 lbs each or something like that.

Thank you for you're input. Looks like the owner of the car is going to go with blue OZs all the way around. Should look good!


I like the look of the gray on a white car also, could look cool with some flashy colored lug nuts.

Yeah the OZ alleggerita is the only affordable rear option but the Kosei K4R makes for an excellent front wheel option @ $199 each @ 14lbs per wheel.
