Lexan rear window for the OEM hard top
We are looking at some ways to cut some weight on the Time Attack car, so weve been tossing around ideas like doing a full CF roof etc. Part of that project, IF it happens would be making a formed Lexan rear window. The window would use lexan brand over generic acrylic. the Lexan is more scratch resistant and also will not yellow quickly like regular acrylic can.
Lexan rear window (with painted black edges like the OEM has)
We would make a minimum of about 5 rear windows. Pricing would be around $450 or less each. A first article would be made first so i can give exact weight savings etc.
Just wanted to get a show of hands for this that may be interested in just swapping the rear glass on their current oem roof.
Thanks!
Greg
