According to speedventures site, the Laguna seca event towards the end of June has a weekend where there is unlimited dB levels.

Friday - 92db
Sat - unlimited
Sun - unlimited

But if I'm reading the fine print correctly, you have to buy both sat and Sunday to run. That's around 700 bucks

I ended up selling my exhaust and taking the extra weight of going back to stock to pass sound tests

Ok well, I ended up running at Laguna during the 90 db event and my berk setup is no where near compliant. The only way I could pass sound is by lifting through 5-6, coasting at about 65 mph. I even used a dynatech turndown with cone insert.

At one point I hit 99.9 db through 5-6, and wasn't at full speed; I estimate about 100-102 db for this berk setup. I was able to open up between turns 5 & 6 about 2-3 times because I was with traffic, and they can't pinpoint you. Unfortunately coasting through there makes is difficult to learn the turns for a flat-out approach.

All in all, the track is freaking awesome, and really unfortunate to have such a ridiculous sound limit.

My fastest time was approx. 1:49.151, with passenger (+200lbs) - would love to spend more time there and get into 1:45.x range, which I think my setup is capable of, I will just need to find a higher db day

O gosh. I really hope that NASA Nationals will be unlimited. Calendar says 95db. There's no way I'll pass with a Challenge race exhaust.

If it says 95 db, I would start preparing :|

You don't want to go all the way out there for competition and get black flagged for sound... they're strict.
