Default KW V3 Spring rate

Hey guys,

Does anyone know the maximum spring rate that the KW V3 coilover can allow? I've emailed KW with no response, and since I know some of u guys run it here, I might be able to find the anwser.

Thanks in advance

KW doesn't recommend changing spring rates on their coilover systems. If you want to run custom spring rates then you should be looking at their racing shock line and not their off the shelf systems.

I emailed them about this a while back and they said you should go no more than +/- 1kg over what they come with, so they should be go with springs that are 55lbs/in stiffer before needing to be rebuilt.

For track use, their valving often ends up on the higher end of the spectrum, I'll have to talk to their engineers but I would think you could get away with at least a 100lbs or so higher rates without any issues...

V3s come with 515/515lb rates f/r. Clubsports aren't much higher.

agreed, I'm sure they are playing it conservative, I would think the damping curves could probably handle another 2kg.
