Default Kognition Wing review, pics, blah blah blah

Hello, In the past few months I have been doing some research on GT style wings. Mostly looking at voltex type 2 and 7 but a friend and local S track racer had just purchased a chassis mount wing by Kognition which really interested me. (I had never heard of them) They have some pics on their web side but almost nothing on the internet as far as pics or reviews. After seeing it in person and hearing how positive of an improvement it made on his first track day with it I was sold ! It was less costly than the voltex type 7 and a chassis mount! Can change from 1 to 18deg angle and has a quick release to open the trunk. Now came the only bad part... the wait time. Bc its all made to order it took just under 2 months for me to receive it, but when I did the quality was awesome!. The mounts were very high quality Aluminium and the wing 100% CF. After two nights of cutting, grinding and drilling It was on! Unforintitly I dont have any track days or even Autox's with it yet. But Im going to Daytona Dec 7th and will add a review after that Also hope to see some other S's there!

On to pics

The car that inspired me going for a chassis mount wing

More pics to come

Thanks, Eric

How hard is it to disconnect & access the trunk? Are the wing mounts solid? Is there any side to side play?

Great questions. There are 4 quick release pins on each side and should take about 3 min to disconect the wing and completely open the trunk. The trunk does open aprox 8 in with the wing on.( engough to easily reach you hand in) Trunk space is now limited bc of the stands. There is a little side to side play when going over bumps and such, prob less than an inch side to side. Front to rear and down ward is EXTREAMILY solid.
