Inexpensive Substitute for Saner Bar?
So I'm planning to go to a square setup with wheels/tires and am in need of sway bars to compensate for the increased grip up front.I used to be a pretty avid autocrosser and I still plan to autocross the car a fair bit but am not looking to build a nationally competitive car (not really even regionally). I just plan to run locally up here in Canada (Vancouver Island)and I drive the car on the street a fair bit. The car is an STR car. Obviously there is tons of info on running fast setups for competitive STR cars, but everyone is running stiff springs and $1000 sways up front. I don`t have the budget for that. I would go with a Saner bar up front and the MX5 bar in the rear, but Saner isn't available anymore. What other options are available to me? I looked at the Eibach, but it doesn't seem like it's stiff enough.
I am planning to go with the PF01 SS +60 on Star Spec 255's all around. Suspension is stock rate Variant 3's and currently similar to UK alignment with more camber front and rear, caster maximized up front (can't remember exact setting now, it's been quite a while since i was aligned). I will be getting another alignment afterwards and adding more camber f/r as my rears were wearing more on the outsides.
So basically, I'm looking to keep the car's balance similar to what it is now (on ap2 wheels and 225/255 RE01R's) while going to a square setup. Anyone have any suggestions besides the Gendron/Ankeny bars?

Eibach 32mm is cheap and easy...not quite as stiff as the Saner bar as the Eibach bar has a thinner wall (5mm). I believe a bar similar to Saner bar specs are being produced by a different company, but have no idea about availability.

Im running an eibach bar in front and before i put the miata bar in the back I was making the front end push. Thats with 700lb fronts and 560lb rear springs. On square rs3s. So take that how you will. I have been told by other people it wasnt enough bar but I feel that if I can make it stiff enough to plow the front then the bar is prob heavy enough to do the job.

I would save up until you can buy a gendron bar or make one yourself. You may think yourself later for waiting. Granted I'm a fan of a stiff bar set-up and seem to like the car more the stiffer the front bar is.
If all else fails you could save up and just get the basic non ball bearing 1.25 hollow bar. I've seen a few saner bars for sell reciently. Keep searching.

Also, consider the Whiteline bar. It isnt adjustable, but I believe the Whiteline is still stiffer than the stiffest Eibach setting. I tried finding more details on the two, never found solid answers but from what I found it seemed like the Whiteline was stiffer. I'm a track noob, but the Whiteline evened out my 255 square set up nicely.
