I've wanted to do racing school since before I was old enough for traffic school and I still can't afford to. Of course, that was like 2 weeks ago.

Seriously though, instead of having parents to send me to racing school and push me to do well, my parents used to hide my car keys when they would find out I was planning to go to an autocross and they would shut the tv off when I would watch F1.

Yeah, it sucks that we don't all get the same opportunities handed to us. But somewhere out there maybe there is an Al Jr. or an Andretti that wishes he knew how to turn on a computer or even just say the right thing in a post-race interview. I can't really bitch, I've had plenty of other opportunities handed to me and I just need to work those so I can try my hand at racing someday. Which reminds me, back to the books. I'll have my JD in less than two weeks! WOO HOO! Anyone know of a law firm that pays enough that I can afford a $500k Star Mazda season?

I looked around their site and a lot of the drivers they have lack experience, but have high-paying jobs listed in their bios, so I think they are looking for drivers to pay them, not the other way around.

Star Mazda is closer to $130k per season. $100k to lease the car for a year. The lease comes with fuel, tires and pit crew. World speed would maintain and transport the car to each race.

BTW, $30k of the money is for crash damage. The season itself cost's $100k
