weighed in at 2680 with 200 lb driver and about half a tank of gas yesterday. we were at 2748 for our first race,

pulled out a few things but the biggest weight saver was getting a new exhaust system.. we will no longer be the quietest car at the track lol.

I worked on the s2000 this weekend and dropped another 50lbs out of it, I should be in the 2250lb range. Rear sway, front headlights, vapor canister for gas tank, front lip which was 7lbs. Some plastic parts and miscilanious.

Ive done some more stuff and has to be close to 2190 lbs. Made an custom trunk that only weighs about 1.5 lbs. Ive never seen anyone do anything like this on here yet...

I dig the trunk. I made something similar, but did a fiberglass mould and a CF wet-layup. It came in right at a pound, but it's held on with dzus fasteners, so I can still get into the trunk to make shock changes. Yours is cleaner and undoubtedly cost much less.
