Last year I did an full season and was not modded much. Stayed in an local unlimited class. This year I only made it out a couple of times, and ran in SSM to be safe. Had a son this year so I have kept it conservative and started Saveing money for the car for this upcoming year. Planning on this next year to get a full season in and most the mods are very recent. Last month or so. So no, have not spent time on the classes.

XP is the catch all class, not SSM.

SSM is actually fairly restrictive in its rules.

I still get confused with all the classes.

Generally better to learn classes and driving before dismantling a car, though.

Yes I need to learn more on the classes. Don't think I will make it to Nationals or packwood anytime soon. So local for me and hill climbs once I get an better roll bar. I just have an good time going out for top raw time door slammers. And pax too, I think I got 3rd in pax last event.

Haha. C'mon man. That's just silly talk. I got 1st in PAX with a stock CR at a Corvette event. And I'm a mid-pack Nats driver.

If you're PAXing well with that car, it means the competition is weak rather than your driving is strong.

We have a bunch of guys that run a packwood here and that have placed really well at packwood too. Usually have an 70 car turnout
