I'm thinking that the image stabilization on my camera needs to be turned off and i should also use a stabilizing strap between the camera and rollbar. That should fix most of the vibrations. Ohh, and yes i got the point by and as you can see he was way off power... I had no where else to go
I'm using the IO Port camera mount, which has a silicon "shock absorber". It makes a big difference if you don't have something like that. Also, using the wmv format makes for much better video w/ great compression, as you can see, that vid's 12MB.

Yup, I'm using the IO-Port as well, Did you use the stabilizing strap that came with it? I just tried the wmv format and at 786kbps the quality is better than the mpg i posted and it should compress to a smaller size as well. I'll use that next time.

That strap isn't to stabilize the camera, it's the "oh shit I didn't mount the camera right and now it's gonna go through the windshield" strap. Just do it loosely through the hand loop on the camera. Wow. If you're using the same mount as I am, your shocks are *way* stiffer than mine. What're your spring rates on that thing? Either that or all those recipricating pistons are causing vibrations I'm not used to in my spinner
