Has anyone used the ballade headlight delete covers? They are the only ones I can find. From the pictures on their site it looks like they just snap in. I would have thought they'd use the oem bolts. I'm concerned about them not holding up and falling out. I suppose custom support could be easily added. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I just hacked out a set of stock headlight from everything except the tabs and then covered with black wrap.

before i shelled out $250 + shipping for fiberglass headlight plugs id buy a set of cheap ricer ebay headlights and i just looked they are $170 for he set shipped. just hack off all the unwanted parts of the headlight essentially leaving the lens and mounting tabs. i doubt your talking any sort of weight difference to justify the price gap. plus you gain all the factory mounting spots.

That's what I'm thinking of doing. That and some black plastic paint in the inside of the lens would probably do the trick. I'm kind of surprised a filler doesn't exist. HELLO BAERO...WHERE ARE YOU?

Just get some vinyl wrap. And put it on the outside. The paint on the inside won’t look that great

Why do you even need to paint or cover it? Just leave it clear with the insides hacked out.

It looks like crap. I tried that first. You get to see all the ugliness of the cutouts and all the inner fender workings

Uhh, I don't think they snap in.... Looks like there is some fabricobbling involved.

+1 on cutting up old headlights. I sold off the ballasts/projectors/bulbs from a set of headlights that came with my car (broke and busted tabs) then cut up the lenses to work with some simple Al brackets.

Thanks for that suggestion. I was also about to buy the Ballade Sports blanks but ordered a set of the cheap ebay ones instead.
