Thumbs up Harness options; Forumla style D-ring buckle ?

So it's time to shop for a harness and have two in mind; the Simpson Platinum & Schroth Clubman 3. The Simpson uses a forumla style d-ring setup for the sub-belt and not quite sure if that's suitable for our cars. My other option is the Schroth which is what i'm leaning more towards. Any thoughts/opinions on these two harnesses?

thanks!!

I have a Schroth Hybrid II and I find it more comfortable then T and V style anti-sub belts. I got mine from Jeremy at Fasttech (jlucas on the board).

I have the Schroth profi III 6 hans and have not had a problem with it.
I actually like it.

www.hmsmotorsport.com is where I got mine.
I don't know if there is a board sponsor that has them or not.

here is mine.

Someone on this board recommended NOT to get a formula style harness. Would someone explain the rational behind this?

the belt I have is nice and don't know if anyone would not recommend a formula style.

the reason I like mine is because the sub strap is where the cam lock is connected so when I get in I just pull it up and connect everything to it.

I would guess with the formula style its going to be connected to one of the lap belts and I think it would just be more difficult to get strapped in.

just my .02
