Harnes Belts On stock Roll Bar?

Is this because the stock roll hoops are too low/too weak? Has anyone tried welding on to the stock hoops?
Or, if you're short enough you may be able to sit low enough to clear the A pillar

The short version:
1. The stock roll hoops are too low to provide sufficient roll-over protection for most people.
2. There is no secure way to mount shoulder harnesses to the roll hoops or chassis without substantial modification to the interior.
3. The stock seats do not permit the correct use of a 5, 6, or 7-point harness.
Other concerns:
If you take the plastic off the stock roll hoops, you could hypothetically wrap the shoulder harness around each hoop, but you'd also need to weld stops onto the hoop to prevent movement of the strap attachment. Once removed, it is nearly impossible to re-install the plastic onto the hoop.
