Default Harnes Belts On stock Roll Bar?

I was thinking of hooking up a set of good belts and attach them to the stock rollbar (for now). This would be until I get an elda bar or another make hd setup. Has anyone tried this? and how do you remove the panel behind the seat to get access to the bar?

Do you think your neck's strong enough to support the weight of the car if you get upside down? If so, go for it!

I understand your point, but am I better off using just the stock belts until I get a bar? I currently use the car for autox, street and track HPDE days.

Yes, you are better off with the stock belts. At least with the factory 3-point you can adequately duck your head. With fixed upper body restraints, you're stuck. No ducking for any reason.

Yes, it's safer using the stock belts until you get a bar.

You could get a sparco lap belt or a cg-lock if you just want to be more planted in your seat, but upper body restraints are a huge no-no without rollover protection.

Edit: Just noticed I now have 4 stars. Can't believe it's been that long. I need to get a life
