I received some information from Tom at Bethania garage today.

1 - The new bulkhead brace will not be capable of modification to allow it to be used as a harness bar.

2 - The new bulkhead will not have mounting equipment for the glove box.

3 - It will be capable of both passenger and driver seat belts.

4 - It will be a bolt in option.

Thanks for the info! I'm planning on ordering one real soon. Maybe in a week or 2.

That is pretty cool, good to know I won't ever need my stock bulkhead if I had to put the stock seat belts back in. Might be time to throw it in the trash.

Does anyone know how I can keep the cigarette power adapter if I remove the glove box? Do I just keep a dangling cable between the seats?

You can, I would probably tape it down though.

I tried to locate it somewhere clean after removing the glovebox. Looked pretty ugly. Gave up and just unhooked it.

Anybody got a weight comparison?
I imagine this should be lighter but by how much?
Ie. Bare stock bulkhead to this?
