Halo Seats Part II

Halo Seats Part II
We all know its hard to find the correct seat, let alone ones that will fit in the S2000. Since I'm looking into getting a halo type seat, I'm not sure which ones fit correctly without modifications or with (ie denting the tranny tunnel, door panels, or even trimming the seat).
Here is the research I have done on the seats that may fit without modifications or with potential issues that may need to be addressed (feed back is from members on here from the prior thread), lets begin:
We will start with the Recaro Pole position and use these measurements as we know it will fit properly (I know its not a halo seat, but we will use just the measurements of the seat):
The main areas that are of concern are the widths of the "wings" and the bottom of the seat. Again, using the Recaro PP as the base, we see the wings is 580mm wide and the bottom is 500mm wide. The wings just barely touch the door panel (in my car atleast) so:
Wing 580
Bottom 500
Recaro Pro Hans Regular:
wings 575
bottom 455
I know this seat fits with out issue or modification (unless you have a roll bar, in which it may touch a bit depending the bar).
Sparco Circuit and Circuit II:
Circuit:
Wing 580
bottom 470
Circuit II:
Wing 590
bottom 480
The Circuit will fit without modifications, and the Circuit II looks like it will fit, but the door panel will touch the seat and may need to be addressed.
Sparco Ergo:
Small:
Wing 570
bottom 470
Medium:
wing 575
bottom 500
Large:
wing 600
bottom 520
The small and mediums will fit, but not the large without modification
Sparco ADV:
wing 630
bottom 480
The wings of this seat is rear wide and will be an issue.
OMP HTE-R 400
wings 560
bottom 515
The bottom of the is wide and may cause issues with the tranny tunnel
Bride Gardis III
wings 585
bottom 470
looks like this seat will fit without modifications based on the measurements.
Bimarco Grip:
wings 600
bottom 515
A comment by a user says it fits, but looking at the measurements, the wings may be an issue, bottom might be fine.
If there is any other seat you want me to add, just let me know and I will edit the post.

you need to consider what mount or rails you will use
you can adjust the placement of the seat depending on floor mount or rails like with BC rails or planted style floor mount.
the bimarco for example i had it in my car with both BC rails and the planted floor mount.
the BC rails will force it in a certain offset from the tunnel/door where as with a floor mount you can somewhat control the offset.
with the bimarco the BC rails forced it to hit the door panel and required tunnel hammering when i switched to the planted floor mount it would not hit the door but still needed the tunnel hammered.
not sure why people are so opposed to modding the tunnel to fit a bigger seat. once you go halo you sort of forfeit driving the car normally as you no have huge obstructions in your view

Several people have commented positively on the Bride seats. Several of them have low mounting which a lot of S2k drivers wanted.
This the Maxis III:
This is is the Gardis III
They don't mention HANS compatibility. These two seats are about $1600-$1700 in FRP or $3000-$3100 in carbon. There aren't a lot of pictures of these two seats in an S2k, but there are lots of other Bride models.

UPDATE:
I bought a Sparco Circuit II seat and just installed it. This seat will not just bolt right in with a full interior. I had to make a hole in the door panel and cut away some of the vinyl on the transmission tunnel to get the seat to fit. The top of the seat is touching my hard top a slight bit and will see how that plays out.
Looks like anything wider that a 575mm wing will need to have the door panels modified.
Ill say this however, the seat is awesome.
