My buddy got the ADV and said it wouldnt fit. the wings hit the door to hard, which was expected, he replacing it with a recaro pro hans.

I looked on Sparco's website and they have a new seat, Ergo. Looking at the measurements, seems as thought that one will fit.

User "Stratocaster" has the Sparco Ergo, but his car is gutted and caged. Also, he's sitting on a custom brackets bolted to the floor (no sliders).

Have you looked at a custom seat from Kirkey or ButlerBuilt?

It would be custom built for both the driver's and the car's measurements rather than the 2 or 3 sizes of the Sparco/Recaro seats.. Especially with custom insert formed around the driver it should be as or more comfortable. My guess is that the reinforced aluminum is also stronger than the reinforced fiberglass of most of the Sparco or Recaro.seats. Costs should be comparable.

The Ergo has narrower wings than the ADV so it should fit with the door just fine. However, the Ergo's Medium and Large sizes are both wider at the front bottom of the seat, so it sounds like those sizes might rub the transmission tunnel. Small Ergo should fit in both bottom and wing.

Im 6'3 200 with a 35 waist so I have no idea if I would fix in the small Ergo. There is a Spacro store near me and I plan to go there to test fit it. I fit in the Recaro PP fine and fit fine in the Recaro Pro Hans (regular size). So i am not sure hot that compares.

I have not looked into the Kirkey, might be next to see costs.

I'm not sure about the latest Recaro HANS.
I have a 2003 Recaro HANS Porsche series with buddy club rail in my car and it's hitting the hardtop a little bit.
