You will still have to cut the HT latch handles to clear the bar.

BMWCCA schools who use the BMWCCA insurance have a choice between banning convertibles entirely or only allowing convertibles with roll protection and 5/6 point harnesses. Some chapters do take the "ban them entirely" line, and that seems to be the way BMWCCA is leaning as a whole. I'd be careful about buying a bar and harness setup just to be able to run BMWCCA, because they might still tell you no.

I've heard back. Their latest word is that the details have not been worked out yet and a timetable for the re-release is unknown at this point. However, from other sources that have spoken with the fabricator, it seems as if the re-release is emminent.
