The diagonal bar has nothing to do with mounting a harness. That would be the harness bar. The harness bar is a little high but within reason (based on the ELDA geometry).

Thank you for correcting my jumbled words. Based on the pictures of the ELDA I was thinking it was a little high myself, thats why I asked. But if it is not too high and will still be okay to mount to; thats all I'm concerned about.

How hard is the install? How long does it take? Any drilling involved?

A: The bar is mounted via bolts and plates on the underside. Essentially, the chassis is sandwiching between the roll-bar and plates.

A1 I would say the install requires some skill. If you are can install exhaust headers or a sway bar you should be fine.
If 1/10 is torquing lug nuts, and 10/10 is installing a SCer, then this would be a 5-6/10.

A2 The time will vary based on your skill level. I would say ~3 hours to remove the trim and put the bar in would be more than long enough. And probably longer to get the plastic trim contoured to fit around the bar perfectly.

A3 There will be comprehensive downloadable file that will step you through the installation procedure.

This was briefly discussed in the other thread, but are you going to offer padding for this bar or will we need to source it ourselves?
