I use the modifry mount for mine but it seems to not adjust the the brightness correctly because it'll balance for interior and then outside will be over-exposed. Does anyone know how to fix that?

I bought my camera mount from a guy here on the s2ki boards for $25 shipped and it's been awesome for track and autocross events. Watch the first video below to see a photo of how it's mounted and you can see my autocross videos in my channel... (PM hondaf1 for the camera mount)

I was using my suction cup on the trunk with a few of the elbows to make it taller. The modifry windscreen mount is a much better position for the gopro's wide angle though.

I use mine with the suction cup, upside down, under the rear view mirror. I really like it there. You cant see driver inputs, but for the most part I can tell what's going on by the sound and I prefer to focus on what I was seeing on course anyway. My youtube channel you can see this and several other views used there. I use the open back for all my videos and the wind noise is not bad at all. Also make sure to use the little rubber thing to dampen the mount noise if youre using the adhesive ones.

Random1 made his own mount to go where the modifry goes (not for a gopro). He may be able to provide some info on how he did his.
