Another quick question: What kind of cameras are you guys using, mini DV? Bullit Cams? Mics? Do all camcorders have some kind of mount point that works with Rick's camera mount?

if u don't want your vids to look daff, u need a wide angle lens, at least a 0.6 ratio for getting a nice broad view of the cockpit.
these come in a wide range from cheap(coverter type only in focus with no zoom, fine for your application) to expensive( high optical quality at edges, zoomable).
pay attention to sound....ie. eliminate wind noise

What happened to Rick's mount? It's not listed on the site anymore! I like the fact that it comes with everything I would need, I'm kinda lazy and don't feel like "making my own"!
Any other options out there?
Thanks!

I'll be at the FL tour and National Tour at Fort Myers.
I'll bring it with me and you're welcome to inspect it before purchase. Plus, the price will drop $5 if I don't have to ship it.

I'll race you for a beer . I'll even spot you about 105 HP since I'll be in my Miata
I'll not likely be up that far north until the summer. I was at Gainesville raceway for the first time for the State Championships in November and liked the track a lot.
