I know some of the racers on here play Forza 4 on Xbox(I've had fun in rivals with some of you), and got to thinking if anybody would want to start a little S2000 race series?

People do Spec Miata races, with all cars with the same mods, and I think it could be fun if we did this with S2000. Maybe spec them to a certain NASA TT rule spec? I'm up for anything, but it would be a lot of fun to have a few S2000 guys with the same cars, sans tuning setups, going head to head. Finding good racing online in this game is really hard without having somebody crash into you.

We could figure out a good night to do it, maybe every week or every other week, and have some good racing.

Would anybody be up for this?

Sounds like it could be fun, I guess its time to go get xbox live. How have you set the s2000 up in forza not to drive like garbage? Ive tried a couple of setups but it still just isnt a fun car to drive in the game for me.

 

I have two well-setup S2000's in my garage, one B class and one A class. The A class car took much longer to get right.

A Class:
Air filter, intake, exhaust and Flywheel for power
Race brakes, suspension, sways, roll cage, full weight reduction
Race clutch, transmission, driveshaft, differential
Race tires, widest possible, light 17" wheels
Rear Forza wing, front Forza splitter, CF hood

Here's the tuning setup..

4.60 Gears
-2.0 Camber F / -1.6 R
0 Toe F / -.02 R

Sway Bars 34 F / 25 R

Edit: Wow thats much better, the car doesnt feel like its on ice anymore hah thanks! Almost went sub 1:00 at tsukuba in the first 5 laps with it.

 

yeah thats one of the problems i have for my s2k too lol. so i gave up on it cause it does really just get too tail happy for me. then again i modded the crap out of mine

 

I think playing with the diff settings really helped it not suck so much lol

 

I have both the ps3 and 360, and I have to say I for sure prefer driving an s2k in GT5 over Forza. That and there are soooo many freaking s2ks to play with in GT5. Just wish GT5 had all the modifications possible in Forza. I wish Forza would get an AP2 or some of the JDM tuner cars like GT5.

 

Lol my s2k setup is wayyy different and i love how it handles... doesn't oversteer hardly at all. but I've tuned it for fujimi kaido and not really any other course.

 

ill have to mess with that haha. i have a lot of other cars i prefer over it in forza though
