Any advice for someone taking his first HPDE event at Infineon? I've heard Infineon is probably the most challenging track for a first time HPDE'er. Also, my S has less than 17k miles and it is an 04 so the pads likely need to be changed due to age.

My adivce: Enjoy yourself!
Don't worry about setting track records; listen to your instructor (I dearly hope you will have an instructor); drive within yourself.
You always should check your car out thoroughly before doing a track day, and if you think your pads might be low, certainly pay special attention to that. Infineon isn't particularly hard on brakes, but I wouldn't want to do any track day with pads worn to significantly less than half (especially street pads).
