I really doubt you're going to notice any issues with OEM pads first time out. Just make sure there's over 50% left and that your brake fluid looks good.

There's nothing worse than being on track with faded pads. Not only is it unsafe but, it'll ruin your day. You're going to spend decent money on the event. I wouldn't let pads get in the way. Get the XP10/XP8's and you'll not have to worry for the full day. Even if you ONLY get the 10's in the front, you'll still have a good time with no brake issues.
Does NJMP require a rollbar? My home track summit doesn't. Hell, you don't even need to wear a shirt to run at summit and the rental helmets are like bicycle helmets.

Speaking only for myself, I've never had any issues just throwing HP+, XP8', or XP10 pads in the calipers, without replacing, resurfacing or even cleaning the rotors.
