You need two camcorders, one to capture the video of your driving, then it feeds it into the datacam, and then the datacam superimposes RPMs, L/R F/B g force, speed, throttle percentage, brake on/off, and takes a feed from your hot lap.
PRO:
You can see it all on the screen
CON:
It doesn't feed graphs/data into a laptop. It's all onscreen video.
I have it almost working in my S2000 for Laguna, except the speed sensor shows I am doing 231 mph in the parking lot. I guess the digital speedometer has a different type of wheelie sensor unit in it, and we are scrambling to try to figure out how to make it work correctly. I would be helpful to know how fast/slow you are going into a turn according to the line you take.

i plan on manually sync'ing video to race-tech GPS logger. my in car camcorder broke from vibration probably, so i have'n tried it. But,in car cam has data logger in field of view, so can start reviewing data run when you see sampling button is pushed(and/or say "ready set go" on camera if logger is set somewhere else) and watch side by side.
