Chris (f20kills) told me that the 17x9.5 +44 will clear Brembo BBK's. The 17x9.5 +38 would give you even more clearance for even bigger BBK's (possibly by 6mm). The 17x10 should be based off the +38 design, maximizing BBK compatibility. For example, if you took a 17x9.5 +38 and added half inch to the inside barrel, you would end up with a 17x10 +45, but the caliper clearance would remain exactly the same as the 17x9.5 +38.

Tirerack has the difference at $20 per wheel for the pf01 and the rpf1. It is still more but $80 isn't too bad.

Thanks for that! So there should be more than enough clearance for a BBK, assuming they use the convex spoke design of the other 17" wheels.

That's the hope! Let's get these wheels produced!

If that's the case, I'd be willing to pay for hyper black. Hopefully it applies to custom runs!

The 17x10 +52's do contact the lower arm at full lock, depending on your camber settings. It's right at the very last fraction of a turn, and only 'just' makes contact, but it's there. After changing my front camber from -3 to -3.5, I do not have that contact anymore. Of course, every car is different...

The convex spokes of the 17" design allow for more brake clearance. Some people are wanting a concave look, such as the 18x9.5 +40. The two are pretty much mutually exclusive...if you look at BawseS2K, he just barely had enough room to clear the Spoon caliper with a 18x9.5 +27 offset, because of the concave spokes. If THMotorsports can even get a 17x10 design made, I am assuming it will be made by modifying a mold to enlarge the barrel therefore keeping the convex spokes.

Is this done with stock fenders and no spacers? If so, i'm in for this setup.

I know people want a concave spoke design because it looks better, but to my knowledge none of the 17" wheels use a concave spoke design. Am I wrong in assuming these would use the same convex face of the other 17" wheels? I would think this would keep the costs down because it wouldn't be a total redesign from scratch.
