No, this assembly sits much higher than this, within the confines of the factory sheetmetal rub guard and well above the factory frame rails. Based on our experience, we'd want to see the reservoir much higher than shown in this photo for safety.

wish this was legal for str / bsp. then i wouldnt have to duplicate my setup... science, cant you just make it a little smaller and stuff it down inside the tank supported from the fuel hanger?

Sorry, there is not enough room in the factory fuel tank to make this possible.

Ready for pics of installed unit. How do the lines exit the trunk area? What has to be cut/ modified to get them under the car? I am ready to purchase, but still have a few questions and want to see it mounted. I have the FBM surge tank, but I don't like that it is in the trunk.
