Default Drag Race at Englishtown

For the first time, I went to Drag Racing. I didn't think I was going to race but I said 'hell.' It was actually fun. Nervous at the time when I'm about to go.

I didn't know what to do so I had couple of mishap such as lining up and so..

First run, bad start + missed 2nd gear = 15.644

Secind and third run was 15.066 & 15.070. But here's the thing.

I had bad reaction time on second run, 1.567, and better on third run .760. but how could third run be slower than second? could anyone explain this for me? this is the ticket I received.

2nd run
R/T 1.567
60 2.399
330 6.571
1/8 9.880
MPH 74.77
1000 12.684
1/4 15.066
MPH 92.96

3rd Run
R/T .760
60 2.371
330 6.537
1/8 9.860
MPH 74.40
1000 12.681
1/4 15.070
MPH 92.60

Could you help me improve my time?

other than my time, it was fun. definately, I'm going back there soon.

cheers,

Reaction time doesn't count in the times that are listed. You need to have controlled wheelspin off the launch until the car hits 5500rpm to have a fast time. This will be hard on the car if it is not done properly.

How do I do it properly?

Do I just drop the clutch? Or do toe/heel move? How do you do this? Could you tell me little more?

By the way, Thanks for the reply.

cheers,
