Do most of the regions usually run on Sundays? We have 3 clubs within a 75 mile radius and we pretty much have an event every weekend...sometimes 2 events...is it like this pretty much anywhere? Share!!!!

Well, last year I did about 26 events, and could have done more, but got a little burned out with traveling.
Here is a fairly comprehensive list of the FL clubs. Keep in mind, you can get from Miami (South Florida) to Tallahassee (North Florida) in about 8 hours, so there's not a whole lot of dirivng to be done to get to ALOT of these events. Also, the summer months are a little too hot to be standing outside working the course, so some clubs pull recess during July, Aug, and Sept, but run through the winter months, where you might be in hiatus.

hmmm...cool! Most of the Porsche clubs, BMW, Audi, etc....usually do not have autox events...they tag-along one of the ones put out by the Kansas SCCA Region, the KCC Region and Crown Autox.
We usually run from late March until early November....roughly about 24 events altogether....there are more in Salina, about another 1 1/2 hours....too much driving for me....1 hour is the maximum I will drive on Kumhos

We have only one region within a 3 hour drive from my house. We run events about once a month, sometimes less. There is usually a practice day before the championship, if you can mail your entry in time to get one of the 60-80 slots. The politics in our local SCCA region is enough to make you want to start cutting throats. It is really brutal and for an area the size of L.A., you'd think there would be some viable alternative.
I've given some serious thought to starting up a NASA autocross series in L.A. But then the politics rears its ugly head again. If you want to know how bad it is, talk to David Avard. He moved to Kansas because autocross here sucks so bad :-)

That was the first KS event...I think he might have taken top 3 on the PAX results from yesterday....it takes a while to get the final official results...only 6 people ran 2 events back to back...the Avards were 2 of them
Autox whores!
