Have you seen these: Cordless / Rechargeable Air Compressor with Radio (1.5 Gallon Tank)
We ran out of air in our Sears tank, and borrowed one of these from another driver. Worked great!! Weight is sort of heavy to lug around - 35 lbs.

They are out of stock at my local Sears as well. The cost of shipping offsets the savings. Guess I will continue to carry my air pump around.

I just use a bicycle pump. Very efficient and good exercise. Very light and convenient, and doesn't need electricity or ever run out of air . And just around 10 bucks. You only ever need to add a couple pounds per tire at most.
