Default Which dash data log display AIM vs Racetechnology

Hey guys hooking up to an AEM EMS, want lap time, shift lights, after event analysis including gforce, and camera integration with go pro. Thoughts on best unit?

From aim I think their middle one the pista seems the right fit but no go pro from what I'm seeing.

Dash2 seems to offer everything I need at a much better price.

Have you looked at RLC?

Roc looks really good, thanks for sharing. Only issue is I don't see anything showing compatability with serial port for AEM EMS

We've used both. They are both very similar. The Race Technology dash is quite a bit less expensive. We prefer and use the Race Tech stuff ourselves. We have a like new Dash2 and DL1 on sale here:

used both, the race tech stuff is good hardware for much less $. but the aim software for the data processing is WAY better.

Aim looks great, but it's the 2k required to do video that kills me vs. the dash system can pull in go pro vid for a $200 license. Anything I'm missing here? Any others worth considering like motec or even ones that work with iPhone/iPad?

When at Watkins Glen a couple of weeks ago there was a guy with the Aim system that had a third party software system that would integrate his aim data with video collected from any source (he said). Wish I could remember the name of it but a google search may help you? GL
I did a quick search and came up with this
http://www.dashware.net/
I think this was the software

Pretty sure I'm going to wait it out for the aim mxl2 to come out, and tie it into this software. Hopefully it will be out soon!
