So I guess F1 should cancel the Bahrain and Malaysian GPs? AQ is in both those nations.
The spectre of terrorism is everywhere. It is more dangerous to actually race in the Dakar than to worry about terrorists. What a let down.

It's relatively easy to secure a small, enclosed space like a race track. It's impossible to secure the entire area covered by a 6000 mile race with no prearranged route.
