Nice, you're getting it down there! I'm guessing that you still have the windshield frame? Any other ideas on how to get your car down to the minimum (I'm guessing that it'll be 1900lbs minimum weight)?

I'd love to build an FP S2000 one day!

Nope, I cut the frame off tonight. The windshield was 20lbs and the frame 17lbs. I'm still running a stock trunk lid, so there's some weight there to loose, and I can cut out the rest of the trunk floor. There's a few pounds worth of plastic undertray that can go. I'm also on stock brakes, which can be subbed out for something lighter, and I can replace the steel fenders with CF. Then there's taking a hole saw to non-critical steel. That's most of the relatively easy and relatively affordable stuff. I think my min weight is 2000lbs. 1900 for the displacement, and +100lbs for running wheels >16in. diameter.

Nice going having the balls to get the sawzall out and take it to the windshield frame.

Does anyone make any FP legal CF fenders? All the ones I've seen have vents in them, and I was under the impression that that wasn't allowed. Do you have a CF hood yet? How about CF doors? I bet there is a ton of weight to lose in the doors thanks to the heavy side impact beams in there.

I'm making a race and street spec oem style trunk right now in carbon if Intrested. Hoping the trunk will be a about 3-4 lbs.....

My doors are gutted except for the side impact beams. I'm debating pulling those out, but I also want to keep the car where I can do a track day with it. If I pull the bars, I'll have to put in a full cage. Yea, extra fender vents are illegal. There are a couple of oem-style CF fenders out there, with no vents. Downforce is one that comes to mind. Finding them used so I don't break the bank will be the tough part. Our hood is aluminum and pretty light to begin with. I took the cutting wheel to mine and chopped out all of the inside structure and replaced the latch with pins. I think I remember it weighing around 6 pounds before I put it back on the car.
