Default corner weighting...worth it

i got an appointment with west end for next week and im getting an alignment and a corner balance, i had an alignment done a few months ago but i want to take it to west end because of all the good i have heard about them, and i dont think its dialed in yet. I told them i wanted a corner weight done, but im not sure if its worth the trouble or money, i ran a few searches and some people say its only for getting the last 1% out of the car, and a few people have mentioned it made a huge difference (however these people might have driven in with a car thats alignment was way off and thats what they noticed) anyways im just wondering if its worth the time and $ for the cornerbalance. thanks.

If for street only then probably no. I can't really feel a difference but mine was very close to begin with.

Unlikely worth the money for the street. Yes it should be balanced but the margin of error on the street is pretty high.

is there any chance that a corner balance can make a huge difference on a street car that only sees between 3 and 5 track days a year? i raised my car up a little since my last alignment and i have heard so much good about them, i want them to tune my bumpsteer kit and get a new alignment, i was just wondering if its worth it.

I'd say that since you invested in a set of JRZs and the BSk, you may as well spend the little extra and get it corner balanced at least once just in case it might be way off now (and for peace of mind). It's not something you are going to do repeatedly like an alignment unless you mess up your ride heights subsequently or add/move weight around (e.g., add or remove mods of signficancant mass).

This could depend on how good a driver you are.

Worth it only if it's wrong. Will they check it first so you can decide?

If you have adjusted spring perches, then the risk is greater that cross weights are off. 10 lb forget it. 100 lb fix it of course. Somewhere between you decide. (Don't forget to unhook swaybars while checking.)

If you don't have adjustable endlinks, would it be better to NOT disconnect the swaybars, since you would probably be introducing load afterwards if the endlinks are not the precise required lengths?
