Because if your OEM ones are binding you have a bad corner weight. and a sway bar that is pre-loaded that will affect the handling.

By removing 1 and then putting it back you can make sure your CW isn't causing your sway bars to bind. If it is you need adjustable ones, if its not then your oems are fine for now.

Of course you could ignore the problem if you don't care about it.

Hey Krazik,

which exact endlinks from McMaster do you get for the S2K? Do they have something prebuilt which fits?
I need something for my Miata and some Miata vendors want $120 for a couple of adjustable endlinks.
Are there universal ones which fit?

I was thinking about asking the same thing for my WRX... Prova is the only one I've seen that makes adustable ones and they're too much money

I found them - they start at page 1047

Now, which ones do you guys use? Do you get the metric ones? What about the materials - there are so many different ones there. From the metric ones I see only two types though:

- Zinc-Plated Steel Housing, Oil-Impregnated Steel Ball

- Type 303 Stainless Steel Housing, Type 440C Stainless Steel Ball, PTFE Liner

Which of these two are stronger and more durable (I've heard some of the Miata aftermarket adjustable endlinks go bad in few thousand miles).

Or are any of the other materials for the non-metrinc links better? What about weight?

Female half of the endlink: 60745K84, $18.14
