Congrats to Andrie and Rylan in SCCA Runoffs!

Congrats Rylan! You might remember seeing me and my son in our silver S2K at Sonoma in May of last year. You and your "crew chief" helped us swap out our front tires.
You've come a long way from the days, almost 10-years ago now, when we were hanging out at Buttonwillow with SV and eating pizza for lunch!

My in car will take a while. I'm in Japan now and forgot to download my video before I left. Still in the car.
In the mean time there is this

Congrats guys! I saw the live stream and Andrie's car looked setup. What are the major differences for an s2000 in STU vs T3. I see its about a 3s difference at MRLS. 1:40-41's sound fast in a T3 setup. That is discouraging, haha.

A few differences:
- T3 car minimum is 2850lbs
- STU car minimum in similar trim is 2365lbs but none of us (me, Andrie, Krazik) are anywhere close to that.
- STU has more open suspension rules (notably springs) but T3 cars can run good dampers with stock top hats (or something like that)
- STU can use a sequential transmission and do mild engine work (cams, porting)
I was slightly faster than Kevin in my car but not as fast as I should have been. Doing a single test day on the hoosiers would have helped =)

Thanks, then the S2000 is probably not the best platform for T3. I think Kevin was still almost a second off the leaders and I'm pretty sure I'd be way off his pace in T3 trim even if MRLS was my home track. I guess that settles the back and forth dialogue I have with myself about turning it into a race car.
