Apperently Comptech front swaybars are on back order from the manufacturer. Does anyone know a supplier who might have one in stock

 

No one stocks those as they're race pieces. All the dealers get them from Comptech and have them drop shipped. If you want one new, you're going to wait until Comptech gets them back from manufacturing.

 

And if it's anything like waiting for replacement saddle washers, it will be MONTHS of waiting.

 

That all depends on where in the production cycle they are If they went to manufacturing last week then it could be 6-8 weeks; if they went to manufacturing in early January then it should be any day now.

 

front bar? STB? if so, i got mine about a month 1/2 ago. no back order.

True, but most folks have given up any real hope of that happening.

So as to stay on topic, I 'ordered' new saddle washers from comptech back in October. Each time I call to get a status update, I have to go through the whole process again -- telling them what I have, what I want, etc... After the 4th time in as many months, I gave up and just started using big fender washers.

 

Strange. I ordered some washers last year and got them super quick with no problems.
