Clutch Delay

Clutch Delay
Hello all. My first post. I purchased a used '05, Silverstone on Saturday. Will be at WSIR with SV the end of this month.
Do I need to be concerned about the clutch delay mechanism? From some of the posts I've read, it sounds like the clutch will slip and fry the disc if you shift under power at speed. If it's a problem, I'd like to get it fixed before ruining a track weekend.
I haven't had an opportunity to test this for myself and would rather not do so on the streets. Thanks in advance for any comments.

I don't know of anyone with an AP2 who's had any issues on track. I'd assume that the only time it might be a problem is the 1-2 shift in a drag race, but of course you never do that on a road course. In fact at WSIR you'll never even use 2nd.

Yeah, it's mainly a drag race issue. It could be argued that the CDV is a good thing on the track, helping keep the shifts from jerking the car if you are not at your smoothest.

I still have mine with a CDV and done multiple events.
I am fairly gentle on the shift but I noticed that the clutch starts to slip more and more on higher gear shifts (3->4->5) after a long session.
I am planning on taking it out soon.
