See next post for 2002 information

The Chicago Region SCCA has announced the dates of their annual Novice Autocross School, "The Learning Curve."

It will be held at Rt 66 in Joliet, IL on Sat, Mar 24, and Sun, Mar 25. It runs from 8 am to 5 pm both days.

From the web site http://www.scca-chicago.com/solo/2001/learncurve.html
Chicago Region Solo II drivers school is an excellent way to learn about and become involved in Solo II events. It is a two-part school that consists of a classroom session and a day and a half of on track instruction. Instruction will be provided by experienced, award winning drivers (many with National Championship credentials). Because the entry is limited to only 75 students, there will be a very favorable student/teacher ratio allowing for maximum driving time and personal instruction. The school is for novice drivers with less than one year or no solo experience. Students must attend both days.
COST: $75
Jason and I will both be instructing, as well as many other national caliber autox drivers. You will get a tremendous amount of seat time over the two days, and your instructor will ride with you as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

If you have ever wanted to see how far your S2K could be safely pushed, this is your chance. Don't wait to sign up, the class will fill up in early March.

And in case I can shame anyone into attending , my mother is planning on attending the school, although in her BMW, not the S2K. If she can do it, so can you
