Chicago Area Alignment Shop Recommendation
Can someone please recommend an alignment shop that has a Hunter rack and would do an alignment to my specs? Hoping to find a place that's open tomorrow, but if not would like to have one to go to after the holiday w/e.
Thx!

He doesn't have fancy modern equipment, but Jim at the Addison Wheel Alignment shop is an old-school guy that does great work and will work to your specs.
his shop is a hole, his equipment is Soviet era, but he knows his stuff and will work with you. Some of the best alignment tips, including from race teams, involve strings and simple tools.
Whatever he uses is wheel gauges hooked to a computer. He works in a pit, not a lift, which is very lowered-car friendly.
no clue about his hours or availability though. I got in, but he seems rather busy.

If you live in the Northern suburbs, I suggest Thalmanns Alignment in Northbrook. They do lots of autox/track alignments, are very meticulous, let you sit in the car, etc. They use the new LED racks.
