We are working on some dry carbon ones in the next coming months, but thats about all. Will be about 10-15 mm wider than stock tho.

Erik, once the season has started, just take a hammer to them (or feet as I recall you did to twohoos' at Fontana ). I did so with the grey goose also; as long as you can fasten them in position. They're just going to get messed up again anyway, and they are intimidating to the guys driving pristine cars... they will always back off and give you the corner in a tight squeeze. Duct tape does wonders too as you well know from OTC '04 .

You should be proud of battle scars.

4.4.1 All Championship vehicles shall be neat and clean in appearance.
4.4.2 Any modifications to a vehicle shall be done in a way that maintains this requirement.
4.4.3 The Championship reserves the right to prohibit a vehicle from appearing on course due to its appearance, including, but not limited to, damage sustained from an on-track incident at the current, or any previous, event.
I was reading the rules, to what extent do they enforce this part of the rules?

Yes, it is a rule that they can exclude a shit heap because it makes everyone look bad an sponsors don't want to put their brand on a turd but it's not for them that I want my car to look good, it's for me.

I guess I should clarify what it is I'm looking for. I want a fender which is a drop-in replacement for a stock fender which retains the stock fender design. Most of the JDM type fenders add gills and other features I don't want. I also want something comparable in price to an OE sheet metal fender. This is for a racing application and I expect them to get dinged and beat up. They will also be painted to match the car.

I thought at one time someone in Quebec? had built replacement panels but I haven't found the thread where I'd seen it before.

But Erik, sounds like you should use OEM fenders then. Cheaper than CF and repairable after the inevitable minor fender benders. Should be able to get fenders from recyclers? They are not heavy so not much weight benefit.
(Still, it's amazing what rubber mallets etc. can do with these very soft, malleable fenders, then spray can, then remount .)

I think I saw some C-Wings CF fenders on a car recently. Shape was just like OEM and fitment was nice.
