Can I run Racing Slicks in SM2 Class or are Toyo RA1's OK

Default Can I run Racing Slicks in SM2 Class or are Toyo RA1's OK
I have not been to a autocross yet and was planning to enter SM2 class. I am trying to deside on a set of tires to purchase.
Are slicks OK for SM2 or should I go with a set of Toyo RA1's?

You can run whatever tire you want as long as you aren't in a street tire class.

Yep, must be DOT-approved until you get into Prepared or Modified...

Start with victoracers, then when you're ready to spend the BIG bucks, get Hoosiers.

Racing Slicks NO. They must be DOT approved tires. Your RA1's will work.
