Camera Setups
Things have changed so much since the original Go-Pro days when I exited the scene. Now that I am back I am looking for my camera options mounting, camera, and software. All I really want is some nice videos to watch with maybe a small amount of data like location on the track/course and speed, it does not need to be anything fancy. I have an iPhone and know there are some pretty neat inexpensive apps, so that could be an option, I just need to mount it.
So what are you guys using/seeing out there? What route should I go?

If you want a cheap non smartphone camera, than I would look into Aiptek or the Mobius cameras. I use an older Aiptek HD camera with a wide angle lens attached to it. I like that it has an LCD on it that I can use when aiming the camera prior to my races and the whole setup only cost less than $125. I use an I/O Port rollbar mount for it.

Cheapest option: http://www.amazon.com/Aduro-Universa...dp/B008ALV0V4/ with Harry's Laptimer or Torque Pro coupled with http://www.amazon.com/ScanTool-42720...dp/B00H9S71LW/
From there you can upgrade to a higher resolution GPS unit http://www.amazon.com/BT-Q818X-Bluet...dp/B001R1OO1W/ and step up your camera to something like this http://www.amazon.com/Replay-XD-Came...dp/B00HJ4RN1E/

Awesome, thanks guys! I actually have a Modifry dash mount that I bet I can make multi functional and make a mount for near my windscreen as well. I will get Harry's lap timer and an OBD2 Bluetooth.
Is that specific one what I need or can I get a cheaper one, they make them much cheaper, what are the differences in a more expensive one?
For autox I will still see some type of course even without the upgraded GPS, just not quite the detail right?

You can use the dirt cheap ones, that one will last and comes with software for pulling codes that works well. You'll see the course with the phone GPS, though I'm not sure how accurate the representations will be since most phones are hardware locked at 1-2hz from what I understand.
