Default Camber & Tire pressure track set up.

I have been doing mostly autox this season and need some advice for track setup. I currently have -1.0 f and -2.0 r camber, with a comptech front swaybar, stock springs and toyo ra-1's on spoon wheels.

Is this camber good for the track? and what tire pressures would work best?

btw... I was planning to adjust the front camber to -1.5 after the last autox I noticed too much understeer with the Kumho's.

For the track, you will want significantly more camber for RA-1's. I've been told in the neighborhood of -4 degrees is optimal. I personally run -2 in the front and -2.5 in the rear since this is also my daily driver.

I've never really noticed excessive inner tire wear with those settings, but it depends on tires and driving style. Btw, -2 is pretty much all you'll ever get outta the fronts without changing a-arms or ball joints.

-4 is pretty extreme--no way for a car that ever sees the road

What tire pressures do you run?

Its really depends on your toe settings. I'm getting some inside wearing on my front tires, but my front alignment is off. My rear tires are showing just a little bit of inner wear.

Wear is more about toe than camber

2 questions:

Do you want your alignment to be off??????

I have some idea but, how is tweaking the toe advantageous?

You'll wear it evenly as long as you use all 4 degrees
