Like I stated hks puts a TON of r&d into each coilover for each specific vehicle. Not like some standard/default spring rates from eibach with some shocks valved for OE springs...unless your running custom valved konis with custom spring rate springs to compliment each other. But at that point your spending close to 2,000. Please don't skimp out on suspension set up. Save a little more if you don't have the money at the moment, its better to do it correct the first time and save money in the long run.

Hipermax 3 will be upgrading to sp4 soon. Just had mine rebuilt also..

The 2014 STR nationals winner (Nick) was on Konis.

That said, a brand new set of Konis with springs and top hats will run you around $1200-$1500 or so.

HKS Hypermax are around $1600 brand new.

That was Noel's car and he had Moton Clubsports at the time. Nick had re-valved Koni Yellows on his B Stock CR and AP1.

I loved my cr shocks with swift spec r's. I'm now running on ohlins road and track. I feel like coilovers are overrated. The coilovers made the biggest difference for trips to the track as well as aggressive canyon driving.

You can go a lot faster with proper swaybars, alignment, tires, pads and ducting, and seat time.

Bilstein PSS9?

I think some complain the spring rates are not enough and the adjustments (detents) don't really do much. But in the past for other vehicles, I have always been happy with Bilstein. I just haven't tried Bilstein for s2000s...
